This is an older project (I don't know how I forgot to put this up earlier). 

My senior thesis at the School of Visual Arts. Based off of an article from the New York Times about the murder of a US Marine who was eight months pregnant with the child of another marine who she accused of raping her. Her charred remains were found in his back yard in the fire pit. After he was caught, he was tried and convicted of first degree murder.

This project used mixture of installation and videos from the pilot episode of MacGyver that was edited to make the one of the characters run forever and another that used the same footage but edited to never show the woman's face. This created a feeling of death by using the same tactics used in many asian horror films.
